What is the Baithak about?
The baithak is an informal gathering of people coming together with the cause of spreading the use of Social Media in the non-profit sector. It is based on the Social Media Surgery format which is an event regularly held across many cities in the UK.
Who can attend the Baithak?
The baithak is open to individuals from non-profit organizations, activists and independent artists. Have a chat with a friendly social media guru to find the best use of twitter, blogs, facebook pages and so on to promote your work, get noticed and raise your profile.
No previous experience with social media or any technical knowledge is necessary. The event is free, however we will request you to make a booking beforehand (20 places available). Please select a Social Media Shishya ticket from above.

What makes a guru?
The objective of the Baithak is to inspire and encourage people to start using social media actively to meet real-world solutions. If you have experience of doing so and are happy to share it with others, you can participate as a guru. You don't necessarily have to be running your own specialist communications agency. It is all about inspiring others! The only thing we require is that you be patient and encouraging.
